Lazio set to sign Paderborn's midfielder Sabiri

After reaching an agreement with Southampton for the return of defender Wesley Hoedt, Lazio are on the verge of bringing in a reinforcement for their midfield. The Biancocelest have in fact closed a deal for 24-year-old midfielder Abdelhamid Sabiri from Padeborn.

The player will be in the Italian capital on Friday, after that the German club accepted to let the player for free, the agreement includes just for a percentage on a potential future sale.

Sabiri, who was also a target for Braga, made 24 appearances in the Bundesliga last season, scoring four goals and providing one assist.
