Lazio, Keita's agent: "No deal with Juventus. Refused Milan? We want to fully understand their project"

He excelled with Inzaghi with 16 goals and many highly-rated permformances. HIs agent Roberto Calenda spoke to the Corriere dello Sport about the transfer market: "A deal with Juventus? Absolutely not. Staying at Lazio or going to Milan? We were very clear. We most likely wont stay at Lazio because he had his best season and he only played intermittently. They have legitimately made their choice: they have not worked on the renewal. It is a long time that Keita is on the transfer market. We knew that Lazio gathered some professionals to sell Keita. It is regretful that the will of the player has not been taken seriously by Lazio. There was not an offer during these past two year, but in the last week there has been an awkward attempt to negotiate. Lazio have communicated to have made a deal with Milan and we have taken note of it. We are about one of the successful clubs in the world, but we want to fully understand the project. Our silence on the subject has led to some gossiping, but the club never lied. They just made their choices. Lazio brought the player to a year left in his contract and their is only one course to follow: a dialogue towards a transfer that satisfies everyone."
