Lazio looks to return to their winning ways against Sassuolo this evening after suffering a loss against SPAL in their last match. Manager Simone Inzaghi spoke with the press prior to the match.

"Tomorrow we're taking on an important match against a young and peppy team. We prepared well for the match on Wednesday, we needed to be more cynical and ruthless."

On the criticism surrounding Ciro Immobile"I'm satisfied with Ciro, same with Caicedo and Correa. Immobile will play tomorrow, he's added value for this team and he always will be. He has my complete confidence, I need to decide on his partner. The players trained well yesterday and today, all will be called up except Lukaku and Berisha, who suffered an injury. I'll choose my formation after tomorrow's training. Beware of Milan? Don't make these calculations."

"We lost two away matches against Genoa and SPAL in absolutely fortuitous ways. Poor officiating? We're in school for what concerns VAR. We were the first to be expelled from our own penalty and then we gave away a penalty when the players said there was nothing. I know that there have been protests, just a few matches are left and we want the pitch to decide our place in the standings and not outside things."

"Champions League? We need to focus on just us and our maturation. We have won important matches like the derby and last Sunday. We're been reduced by a loss that burns especially for how it happened."
