Lazio, Inzaghi: "I signed a contract extension because I am happy to stay here. Biglia? I know there are negotiations."

Simone Inzaghi spoke to Sky Sport 24 about various subjects, including his contract extension: "It is something that made me very happy. It was up in the air but today, the President (Claudio Lotito) and I signed the contract. I am really happy to stay with Lazio. The credit for this positive season must be divided between the staff and the players. It is important to point out that we brought enthusiasm back to the fans and I am proud to see them return to the stadium to watch our players with excitement."

He also commented on Lucas Biglia, who has been the subject of intense transfer rumors: "It is true that there is negotiations in progress. I spoke to (Biglia) before he left and I am calm because the club is always in contact with the player and his entourage. He is our captain and it would a huge benefit if he stayed with us next year."
