Lautaro:”I had talked about joining Barcelona with Messi but glad I stayed at Inter”

The first scudetto is impossible to forget. After arriving at Inter in the summer of 2018, Lautaro Martinez made some strong contributions to Inter's recent title with 15 goals and 8 assists.

 In a recent interview with ESPN, Lautaro described what it was like to win the scudetto:"We proved we were the best, we beat competition from Ronaldo and not only him, working alongside people like Zanetti. I'm 23 years old, I'm doing what I like to do, I wear Inter's glorious jersey and Argentina's"

 Lautaro did confirm the interest from Barcelona:"I had talked about it with Messi, he asked me how the situation was, nothing in particular. It would've been a great opportunity, but Barcelona had financial problems so I decided to stay at Inter. It proved to be the right decision since we won scudetto"
