Juventus, the latest on the de Ligt and Buffon transfers

Juventus continues to work on the completion of several weeks-long transfers led by sporting CEO Fabio Paratici. De Ligt has a completed agreement with the club, as Juventus negotiate with Ajax on the fee. Paratici is awaiting the Dutch club's approval for the proposed conditions before he flies to Amsterdam to close the deal. 

The deal to bring Gigi Buffon back to the bianconeri also continues forward: there is a deal for the player in place for a one-year contract plus a future directorial role at the club, with only the signatures remaining. Mattia Perin's departure could make space for Buffon, there is interest from Porto and Benfica in the goalkeeper. On Luca Pellegrini, who just arrived from Roma, there's interest from Cagliari, who are ready to take him on loan again after his six-month spell there last season.
