Juventus, Ronaldo leaves Turin on flight bound for Lisbon: the photos

The journey is finished for Cristiano Ronaldo with Juventus.

The Portuguese striker communicated his intentions to change clubs to Juventus: in the coming hours there are updates expected in the negotiations that could land Ronaldo at Manchester City.

At around 2:30PM CET, the airplane with Cristiano Ronaldo aboard took off with Lisbon as its destination.

Just before 11AM CET, Ronaldo left Juventus' sporting center. As expected, he will not take part in Friday's training.

The player's will was determinant, assisted by Jorge Mendes. The agent sought out interest across various European clubs, the most interested of which was Manchester City. The Citizens are set to offer Ronaldo a two-year contract at €15 million after taxes per season.

The discussion point is the contract status of Ronaldo: City wanted to sign Ronaldo on a Bosman deal. After a very tense meeting between Juventus and Jorge Mendes, the agent negotiated with Manchester City: their agent will go closer to Juventus' request, around €30 million. Juve are awaiting the formal offer.

The Ronaldo era at Juventus is set to draw to a close. Udinese-Juventus will be his last match for the bianconeri after joining in 2018: in total, Ronaldo scored 101 goals in 134 matches for Juve, leading Serie A in goals in 2020-2021 with 29.
