Juventus, Pirlo: "Great match, the individual moments went in Atalanta's favor"
Juventus were held back by Atalanta as the two teams met in Bergamo, the final score went 1-0 in favor of the hosts. After the match, coach Andrea Pirlo spoke to Sky Sport: "It was a good match against a strong team, the individual episodes went in their favor. We took the match on well, I feel upset not to have gained a point."
"Dybala played a great match up until he was gassed. He didn't have 90 minutes, but for what he had he did well. We knew Atalanta wants to cause 1 v 1 matchups all over the pitch, we prepared for the match in this way. We covered the field well, they play a different sort of match against you."
"Ronaldo was unable to play, he hasn't scored 25 goals by accident, we know that he is our goalscorer. He adapts easily to this sort of match becuase he's a champion, when he's missing you miss a killer in the penalty area. One moment changed the final result."
"Champions League? We must think about ourselves, knowing that we must play seven more matches and win as many as possible to earn the spot. Playing like this I am convinced that there will not be any problems."
