Marko Pjaca is officially a new player for Schalke 04. Yesterday, the player arrived in Germany and has already met his new teammates, and now Juventus has released and official statement regarding the loan deal:

"Juventus Football Club can announce that Marko Pjaca will be playing on loan at FC Schalke 04 for the next six months until 30 June 2018.The registration rights of the player has been finalized for a consideration of 0.8 million euro, to be paid in two equal installments within 15 April 2018. The loan fee may increase for a maximum 0.2 million euro on the player achieving given performances within 30 June 2018.

The technically gifted 22-year-old, deployed as a wide forward during his 20 matches with Juventus, now has the opportunity to develop his game further in the German Bundesliga for the remainder of the campaign with a Schalke side that is currently second in the Bundesliga table.

Pjaca, who recovered from a tear of his cruciate ligament and external meniscus in his right knee and since gained game time with the Primavera at the end of 2017, established himself in Massimiliano Allegri’s squad during last season – his first with the Bianconeri – as he scored the crucial opening goal in the Champions League last-16 victory over Porto.

The Croatia international, signed by Juve from Dinamo Zagreb in July 2016, went on to win the Scudetto and Coppa Italia last summer.

Everyone at Juventus wishes Marko all the best for his upcoming loan stint."
