Joe Hart:"I feel valued at Torino. Guardiola? There's no hate, but there wasn't a common path"

Probably the most surprising transfer in Serie A last summer was Joe Hart leaving Manchester City to join Torino. The English keeper wanted an opportunity to get back on track, and since arriving in Italy he has established a bond with the fans of the granata. Joe Hart spoke to La Stampa about how he's adapting to his new league:"I grew up watching Italian football, I had been to Torino before and it always seemed fascinating, I talked to people that I knew, including Vieira who knew the place. What did he tell me? Go, you'll be comfortable, he understood my situation he knew I needed to play and that they were a serious club" At the moment it's a loan, then you never know:"I want to enjoy this season at Torino. I'm not focused on the future"

His transfer was motivated by a clear reason, the issues with Pep Guardiola. The Spanish manager had stated since arriving at the Citizens that there was no place for Hart:"Hate? Certain feelings aren't appropriate for professional relationships. But the reason I'm here is there was no common path for us to find. What did I know about Torino before I arrived? Their history, the significance of their past is as much as I knew. Italian imprint on me? I'm proud of it. We had success with Mancini at City, Capello picked me to start on national team and I'm proud of it"

What is the difference between Serie A and the Premier League?:"From my stand point at the goalie position I don't see much difference. In both leagues the results aren't obvious. What surprised me? The fans. In England the stadiums are always full, but not here but the atmosphere is fantastic. At home matches it's spectacular"

In closing Hart spoke about the disappointing Euro and scandal with Allardyce at English national team:"It was a difficult process, but it's one of those cases were you have to use it as motivation and push forward. Football doesn't end there although after the loss to Iceland it felt that way. Allardyce? Complex situation. He accepted the consequences without making excuses, everything happened above my head. Now I hope the federation will decide quickly which path they want to go on
