Tonight’s loss at the Barbera against Palermo, eliminated Venezia from the Serie B playoffs. The match was the end of the line at the club for Pippo Inzaghi who will officially become Bologna’s manager next week. The former Milan striker essentially confirmed the upcoming development in the post match press conference:”I would have liked to make it to Serie A with Venezia. Tomorrow I have a meeting with the club and we’ll talk about the future. My contract is expiring, the club gave me a lot, they believed in me and my staff”
