Inter, Spalletti: "Icardi won't be in the squad for Lazio game"

Mauro Icardi won't be selected for the home game against Lazio on Sunday, Inter's coach Luciano Spalletti revealed in the pre-match press conference. "We still need to bed Mauro back into our daily training sessions. I don't think he can play a part in tomorrow's match, which is why he won't be in the match squad list". Spalletti was then asked if the former captain will be ready for the Nerazzurri's next match: "Mauro trained with the squad this week, as I said he was out for a long time. Training with the team for me is crucial. We need to assess a host of factors".

The coach discussed also about his team's next opponent and competitor for a Champions League spot: Lazio. " Again this year, Lazio have had an excellent season like in past years. Simone Inzaghi makes the team play well. They're three big points and it's up against a direct rival.  Simone Inzaghi makes his team played good football, it will be a six pointer. Injuries? We have the ability to replace anyone. Miranda is like another starter, Ranocchia hasn't played much but when he has been called upon he has shown what he can do".

Finally, Spalletti was asked about his future: "We will see each other her [in press conference] next year too".
