Inter set to extend Barella’s contract: the latest

After officially locking up Lautaro Martinez, Inter are focused on keeping Nicolo' Barella long term since his current deal expires in 2024.

 The former Cagliari midfielder is close to agreeing in principle to the nerazzurri's terms, there are just a few remaining details to address.

 Barella's new deal is expected to be signed next week, so far this season the Italian international has appeared in ten Serie A matches in which he scored a goal to go with five assists.
