Inter return to talks for Chelsea's Giroud

Inter now consider Olivier Giroud the top target for the attack to reinforce Antonio Conte's team this January. Napoli, thanks to a apparently successful transfer with Inter for Politano, seemed open to selling Fernando Llorente to Inter, but after an injury to Mertens they have decided instead to keep him. 

On Friday morning Inter restarted contacts with Giroud's agents, expressing their strong interest. Negotiations are moving ahead with both the player and with Chelsea.
