Inter, Pioli: “The derby left a bitter taste in our mouth. Gabigol? I’m lucky to have multiple options”

A tie in the derby against Milan, because of how it came through, has left a feeling of disappointment for Inter. Now that they face Fiorentina, this will be one of the last chances they have to keep their dreams of Europa League qualification alive. Here is what Pioli had to say in his press conference ahead of the game:

“We have prepared this game with the hopes of removing the bitter taste that the derby left in our mouth. We have six crucial matches left, the first two being against quality opponents. The objective is to win and finish as high as possible in the standings”.

On his players: “Miranda? Both with Inter and his nation, he has proved his qualities. It’s never an individual who has to do better, it’s always the team that has to collectively improve. Gabigol? I’m lucky to have multiple options to choose from. The decisions that I’ve made so far seemed the most reputable ones. Everyone needs to keep training and make themselves ready when called upon”.
