Inter on the hunt for a midfielder. Lucas Leiva, Luiz Gustavo, Badelj: the situation

Inter is looking around for a new holding midfielder to bring in, in January. The order is to bring in a player without spending: a dry loan. Nothing has done yet but Inter ds. Piero Ausilio has been looking at diverse players and has talked to a range of agents. The feeling at the moment is that the first club to accept a loan will be the current club of the player Inter is to sign. This is because all the players Inter are looking at have already given the ok: Lucas Leiva, Luiz Gustavo and Lass Diarra (who has a release clasue which would make him available for 0). The problem for Inter is convincing the club: Liverpool and Wolfsburg have not warmed up to the idea of a loan with option to buy yet, which is the only possible way to bring in the midfielder. A loan with obbligation would count as a full-out signing in the eyes of Financial Fair Play. Another name on the list Obi Mikel: probably the easiest player to sign, yet the one Inter officials are least convinced by. A different topic altogether is Badelj: A player Inter would bring in immediately, but Fiorentina is not open to the idea of letting him go. Badelj is also tied to Jovetic: Jovetic has offers from Germany (Melo from Brazil) and Inter would only be open to a loan abroad. If Jovetic were to stay in Italy, Inter would like to sell him outright: A clear signal to Fiorentina so they can set up a deal with Badelj included and a "no" to Milan's loan proposal for Jo-Jo.
