Inter join Milan in race for Sassuolo midfielder Sensi: the details
After battling on the pitch in last season derby games, Inter and Milan have taken their rivalry off the pitch and on the transfer market. Both Milano clubs have in fact set their sights on Sassuolo midfielder Stefano Sensi. The Rossoneri have been working on Sensi's profile for a while, as testified by the meeting between Milan and the player's agent Giuseppe Riso, and now they are trying to find the right formula and offer to square the circle.
At the moment, the Rossoneri are offering Sassuolo a two-year loan with obligation to buy clause set at €15 million. Sassuolo, however, would like a different offer, both in terms of formula and in terms of transfer fee. On the flipside, Inter have also showed interest in Sensi and the relationship between the two clubs is excellent. The Nerazzurri could decide to step up their interest in case of a Borja Valero's departure and also throw some players in the deal with Sassuolo, like centre-back Gravillon. Sensi's agent, however, is holding talks only with Milan at the moment, with Inter ready to take advantage of possible Rossoneri's struggle in reaching an agreement with Sassuolo.
