Inter-Godin, the figures of the deal

Inter-Godin is moving ahead. The defender who will leave Atletico Madrid in the summer on a free transfer is close to becoming a nerazzurro. The base of the agreement will be for a two year contract with an option for a third as they continue to define the details. The Uruguayan will receive wages of 6 million per season, bonuses included. The last details are being worked out prior to notifying Atletico Madrid and scheduling medicals and the actual signing of the contract.

The white smoke could arrive in the next weeks, after nine seasons with the Capital club Godin is now ready to begin a new adventure in Italy. Inter awaits the player after they have beaten other European clubs to his signature. The defender has played a protagonist role for his current club both in La Liga and in the Champions League this season.
