Inter-Barcelona, Conte's words previewing the Champions League match

Inter face Barcelona in at the San Siro in a critical match: a win would secure advancement to the next stage of the Champions League. Antonio Conte previewed the match speaking to the press in his pre-match conference: "Barcelona will have all the serenity from being in first place but also the lightness free from anxiety over the result. However it goes, I explained to the lads that they should not have regrets because they've given everything. Getting to Christmas in the best way possible is the goal, but we must live it a day at a time. Facing against one of the strongest teams in the world, knowing that winning would mean advancing. Everything that is should give us enthusiasm, even if naturally it brings a bit of pressure. Two months have passed since the first match, the team has played other matches and has grown thanks to awareness of its abilities. At Camp Nou we showed courage, personality, and desire but they won thanks to their champion players.

Inter defender Diego Godin also gave his thoughts: "We must give everything to qualify for the round of 16. The stadium will support us in difficult times, but it will take a great performance. Passing the group would be a great result in a complicated group, where Borussia also are in, used to playing at a high level, with a great tradition. The match that remains strongest with me is the one from 2014, when a goal would win the leage and I scored it."
