Inter awaiting final approval from Manchester United for Sanchez: the latest

Alexis Sanchez's transfer to Inter is moving closer, on Tuesday (20 August) the definitive approval is expected from Manchester United. The deal is a free loan with option to buy fixed at €15m. Inter will pay only a portion of Sanchez' wages, thanks as well to rules allowing clubs to lower their gross wage figures.

With Manchester United's approval on the Sanchez transfer, he will reunite with Lukaku at Inter, and the deal will be signed with the nerazzurri, a deal that United favored after their insertion, while Roma's offer was tempting to Sanchez but not their preferred choice.

Inter considers Sanchez the completion of their offensive force, with Lautaro Martinez, Lukaku, and Politano, and it would be the end of their transfer campaign in adding attackers.
