Insigne-Toronto, ongoing conversations: the Canadian’s offer

Lorenzo Insigne has yet to sign an extension with Napoli despite his current deal expiring at the end of the current season.

Toronto are interested in signing the Italian international and have been in contact with the player's agent for quite some time, their most recent offer is a four year deal with a salary of 11.5 million a season plus bonuses of up to 4.5 million tied to goals and assists.

While Insighe has yet to accept the offer, he's very tempted by the opportunity. Should the deal go through, his contract with Toronto would have to deposited by March (MLS' transfer deadline) with the player transferring to Canada in June at end of Serie A season.
