Immobile:"Lazio was a good choice. I came close to joining Napoli in summer"

His heart maybe in Naples, but his career is now taking place in Italy's capital. Ciro Immobile spoke about facing his hometown team in an interview to Il Mattino:"Napoli was in third division when my father took me to watch my first game. They had Sosa, Pozzo and Calaio' in attack, it's crazy that last night they were playing in the Champions League. Was I close to joining Napoli? There has been a lot of talk about it last two summers, but maybe in the most recent one there was something more. But in the end I joined Lazio which made me very happy.
