Despite the fact that Inter's summer retreat just started, the transfer market is still the hottest topic for the nerazzurri. This morning Icardi's wife/agent Wanda Nara posted a tweet with one simple word "calciomercato" (transfer market) which created some uncertainty regarding the striker's future. But Inter's stance is clear: Icardi is off the market and so far no official offer has arrived. The nerazzurri however also turned down Wanda's request for an extension with raise which she presented after the sale to the Suning group was announced, the player received a new contract just 13 months ago.
The situation is heating up, there was a conversation between Inter and Juventus, but Inter reiterated that Icardi is not for sale. Tottentham and Atletico are also interested, but they have yet to contact Inter directly. Wanda is opening the door to a transfer, but Inter's answer is that their captain is off the market.
