Hellas Verona targeting prospects from abroad, from Man City's Ilic to Bayern's Zirkzee

Hellas Verona are at work on signing reinforcements for Eusebio Di Francesco's squad. The club are looking at several young players who can compete for starting spots.

Regarding the midfield, talks are accelerating with Manchester City for the purchase of Ivan Ilic. The 2001-born Ilic is valued at €7-8 million, there are still details to finalize but the deal should reach completion.

In attack the club are following Bayern Munich's Joshua Zirkzee who played on loan at Parma in Serie A from January looking to reestablish himself.

Verona are looking to give another opportunity to Zirkzee following Parma's relegation to Serie B, counting on the player's undeniable talent to shine through.

The chance for the deal to be completed faces some complications, Zirkzee has another offer from Europe and he is reflecting on the best choice for his future.
