From Spain to Italy. Diego Godin changes everything: from the obvious leader of Atletico Madrid to a new one at Inter. Everything is set for his arrival in nerazzurro, after the agreement was reached in January. Last week, the defender gave his parting interview to the colchoneros in tears. Now, he think of the future in an interview with Club de Deportista.

"I want to continue to compete and play with a new group, where I can bring experience and give my all. My goal is to be a good leader and lead by example. Here in Spain, I always felt at home. Football is my life, a state of my soul. If you're happy and realize that, it's difficult to feel badly. But this happened to me. Unfortunately, adventures end. And today my adventure here ends. But my feelings, my heart, will always stay in Madrid. It's gratifying to receive recognition from my teammates, rivals and fans. It's a reason for pride. This team deserves a lot."
