Gilardino decides to retire as a player: his future will be as a manager

A World Cup winner and UEFA Champions League winner, among others, has decided to retire from playing football. Alberto Gilardino successfully acquired his UEFA A and B licenses and it is for this reason why he has decided to retire: he will not able to take the field for another Italian team due to acquiring his managerial licenses.
