Genoa surpass Cagliari in the race for Czyborra: the latest

Everything seemed to be set for Lenard Czyborra's transfer to Cagliari, but Genoa have surprisingly taken the lead to sign the Atalanta wingback. Last night Genoa's sporting director Faggiano met with Atalanta's director Giovanni Sartori and the player's agent Silvio Pagliari to try to close the deal.

Cagliari had previously been linked to Czyborra but they hadn't been able to close the deal with Atalanta giving Genoa an opening.
