Genoa set to bring in Piccoli and Amiri: the latest

After choosing their manager, Genoa are set to bring in 2 reinforcements as a gift for Alexander Blessin.

Genoa Sporting Director Johannes Spors has reached a deal with Bayer Leverkusen for Amiri and with Atalanta for Piccoli. Both are reinforcements for Genoa's forward line. Amiri is a trequartista, but he can also play as a winger.

The Bayer Leverkusen could be useful for Blessin, who usually fields a 3-5-2 or 3-4-1-2 formation, and Amiri could be the trequartista behind the 2 strikers.

One of the forwards will be Roberto Piccoli. The Atalanta player has been an objective for Genoa for some time and they have finally able to bring him in.

Piccoli will join up with his new team on the weekend after Genoa found a deal and exchanged documents with Atalanta.
