Genoa sack Shevchenko: Labbadia set to replace him

Today Genoa announced the decision to sack Andriy Shevchenko as manager after he had previously replaced Davide Ballardini during the season. The former Milan and Chelsea striker managed the team for eleven matches, in the short term he'll be replaced by his assistants Konko and Murgita for the match against Fiorentina.

Genoa are however closing in on an agreement with Bruno Labbadia who has been without a club since leaving Hertha Berlin a year ago.
