Genoa, Radu’s agent:”He can’t be Perin’s backup”

Following Mattia Perin's return to Genoa, Ionut Radu has lost his starting job at Genoa. The keeper's agent Oscar Damiani has clear ideas on how this development is effecting his client:"Ionut was Genoa's best player in first half of the season. During the press conference new manager Nicola was clear: Perin will be the starter. This implies there isn't space for Radu, and for the qualities he shows he can't be a backup"

Damiani went on:"We'll wait until the end of the month to see if Radu can prove his worth in training. Should Nicola's choices not change, we'll find a solution. We can't exclude a return to Inter". In fact the nerazzurri own the rights to Radu who came up through their youth system.
