Genoa pursue Crotone striker Messias: the situation

While Crotone will return to Serie B after a season in Italy's top division, Messias will likely stay in Serie A. In fact Genoa have identified the striker as the right addition for Ballardini's front line.

 There were positive contacts between the parties in recent days, with president Preziosi and director Zarbano meeting with Messias' agents.

 In addition to the attack, Genoa are also focused on the wings. They are interested in Messias' teammate Arkadiusz Reca who is currently owned by Atalanta, with Stefano Sabelli also expected to arrive after his contract with Empoli expired.
