Genoa planning to add Zapata, Jaroszynski and Barreca to their defense

Genoa are closing a series of deals for defenders: the rossoblù met with Chievo for Polish fullback Jaroszynski, and the sides are close to agreement on a fee around €4m. The negotiations for Vignato meanwhile have not taken shape, among the clubs interested in the Italo-Brazilian talent are Barcelona.

A deal with Monaco for Antonio Barreca is also nearing completion. A year ago Barreca moved to the Ligue 1 side from Torino and in January went on loan to Newcastle. The intention after Genoa acquire Barreca is to concoct a loan move for Jaroszyinski, as to not cause overcrowding at the left fullback position, already occupied by Criscito this past season.

Finally, Milan's Crisitan Zapata is expected to sign his deal with Genoa in the coming hours.
