Genoa make progress on Bennacer front: the latest

After avoiding relegation on last match of the season, Genoa are looking to the future. There are ongoing contact with Empoli for Ismael Bennacer who performed very well last season. On Friday the two club presidents will get together in the evening to work on the deal, a clear sign Genoa are close to completing the negotiation.

Genoa are also interested in Bennacer’s teammate Ciccio Caputo, but the striker at the moment isn’t convinced by the detsination and is eager to explore the possibility of joining either Sassuolo or Spal.
