Genoa, Ballardini leaning towards turning down offer: the latest

The heavy loss to Inter on Saturday, brought the second coaching change of the season at Genoa. The rossoblu' want to ensure they make the right choice after sacking Andreazzoli and Thiago Motta to ensure they avoid relegation and a familiar name is at their wishlist.

But Davide Ballardini is leaning towards turning down Genoa's proposal, he had previously coached the club three times and his relationship with management didn't end on good terms last time. As an alternative, Genoa are focused on Diego Lopez who was linked to Brescia after previously managing Bologna and Cagliari.
