Fiorentina will sign goalkeeper Brancolini from Modena

Fiorentina is closing in on the purchase of Federico Brancolini, the highly regarded 16 year old goalkeeper from Modena. For Brancolini, there had been interest from several English clubs: Leeds and Manchester United were involved, but the player decided ultimately to remain in Italy. Fiorentina's sporting director Pantaleo Corvino has secured the deal for Brancolini, the signature remains but should soon be resolved.
