Fiorentina, Montella: "We are in emotional difficulty... Retreat? No, it's counterproductive"

Another defeat for Fiorentina - the fourth consecutive loss in all competitions. To speak about the 1-0 loss against Empoli, was Vincenzo Montella, manager of La Viola.

"I am angry about the result, but the team is struggling and has not failed. However, there are situations that do not go the right way for us: today, we have created several chances
but the tranquility needed to score goals or make an important play is lacking. We are in emotional difficulty, but I cannot blame the team for anything". Montella then ruled out the possibility that the team would go into a retreat to prepare for the match against Milan: "I don't believe in retreats. But today it is counterproductive because you are still alone." Lastly, a comment on the red card to Veretout: "I did not see it, I think Jordan got angry for a foul right away.
