Fiorentina, Lafont: "Goalkeepers now have to take risks and that's what I do. Juventus? They have many dangerous players"

After a very good start to the season, Fiorentina are struggling to get the three points lately, as Pioli's squad hasn't won a match in two months. In the upcoming Serie A week-end of matches, the Viola will face their rivals and top of the table team Juventus and goalkeeper Alban Lafont has something in mind for the game: "My dream for that game is to save a penalty to Ronaldo and that Fiorentina get some points against the Bianconeri", the Frenchman revealed to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"Juventus are not only Ronaldo, they have many dangerous players for a goalkeeper. There's Pjanic with his longshots, then Dybala and Mandzukic. Juventus ccan win the double, but they are not the only favourite team in Europe".

The former-Toulouse shot-stopper also discussed what's changend in his position and his "worst enemies" - the best strikers in Serie A: "At Montpellier I played upfront as a centre-forward. Then my coach moved me in goal and that's when it all started. The goalkeeper role has changed over time, now you have to take some risks and I do that. Buffon? He is an icon. Juventus made the right choice opting for Szczesny to succeed him, that's not an easy task for the Pole. The best strikers in Serie A? Ronaldo, Mandzukic, Insigne and Icardi. The Balon d'Or? I would have voted for Mbappé", concluded Lafont.
