Fiorentina join the race for Sporting CP keeper Viviano

After joining Sporting CP last summer, Emiliano Viviano struggled to find a meaningful role on the Portuguese club and as a result he could be returning to Serie A during the January window. After SPAL took concrete steps to sign the former Sampdoria keeper, we now have also Fiorentina joining the race and the Tuscan club may have a small advantage considering that Viviano has always been a big fan of the Viola on top of playing for them back in the 2012-13 season.

Fiorentina are looking for a veteran keeper to groom the promising Lafont and they identified Viviano as the ideal player.
