Fiorentina focused on Italiano at manager position

With Rino Gattuso's abrupt departure, Fiorentina are looking to find their next manager- they have identified Vincenzo Italiano as their top choice.

 Spezia had recently given their manager a raise and extension, but the good relationship between the two owners, Commisso abd Piatek, could find a diplomatic solution that works for all parties.

 Spezia want to ensure that Italiano would still be motivated should he remain at the club rather than joining Fiorentina.
