A short statement that sounds like a good bye. After seventeen years at the helm at Fiorentina, Andrea Della Valle is ready to step down as owner with Rocco Commisso set to take over. Della Valle was interviewed by Corriere Della Sera regarding the pending sale: “It’s a journey that ends after seventeen years. The last few months were a struggle. We bought Fiorentina for passion and when the fans are upset and come to protest in front of your stories the signal is clear: it means everything you do is interpreted in the wrong reason”
