Fiorentina, club statement on sale: "Ownership is open to receiving offers"

Today in a statement from the club, Fiorentina announced that owner Andrea Della Valle would be open to the sale of the club. As much had been rumored at the close of the season, but the willingness to sell was made official, the statement: "The ownership of ACF Fiorentina announces that it is absolutely open, in response to the dissatisfaction of the fans, to the sale of the club to someone who wishes to purchase it and the ability to run it appropriately. This is the moment in which someone who has a great passion for the purple shirt who can run the club differently and with greater success can come forward. The ownership is open to listen to concrete offers, obviously only to those who care deeply about the club and is serious and prepared enough to run a challenging club like Fiorentina."
