FIGC, Tommasi: "Nothing will change if Tavecchio doesn't resign"

President of the Italian Footballers' Union, Damiano Tommasi decided to abandon the meeting with the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) after its President, Carlo Tavecchio, refused to resign: "He is not resigning, so I excused myself from this surreal meeting. We believe that it is not possible to start anew if there is not someone new elected as President. We will not resolved these problems with only the resignation of the CT. Otherwise, we will keep making the same mistakes over and over again. Ancelotti? I don't know. We left without hearing anything else. My first question was about the possibility of their resignations. I didn't want to hear about anything else. I feel like there isn't the will to start from scratch. We will see what happens in the next general meeting of the FIGC."
