​Ferguson: ‘From the moment I saw him, I knew Ronaldo was different’

Football, life stories, managerial perspectives, ethics, and much more in a talk to present his new book at the Milan World Business Forum. Ferguson revealed a lot of back stories from his time at Manchester United:

‘I’ve always understood the responsibility on my shoulders to make players, fans and families happy. I believe the right way to prepare a team is to remain loyal and fair especially in difficult times. We didn’t win the 1999 Champions league final because of luck, but because we had a winning mentality. The key to success? Training is the key to everything’.

A comment on Cristiano Ronaldo: ‘I spoke to him yesterday after he signed his new contract. From the moment I saw him I knew he was different’.
