Everton set to buy Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford

Everton has identified Sunderland's Jordan Pickford as their new goalkeeper for next season. The 1994-born English keeper has 27 Premier League appearances in his résumé. He is now close to joining Everton after the Toffees have put forth a £18m bid, and offered to triple Pickford's current salary. Among other choices for Everton were Joe Hart and Stephane Ruffier, but it appears as in the England Under-21 from Sunderland, Everton has made their choice.
