Everton-Ancelotti, the details of the agreement

As reported in the previous updates , Carlo Ancelotti and Everton have reached an agreement for the Italian to become the Toffees new head coach. The coach has still mot signed the contract with the club, but he will become Marco Silva's successor at Goodison Park. The meetings between the sides took place in London on Monday and the talks yielded an agreement during the night.

Ancelotti and his lawyers are currently running over the contract with the English side, before returning to Naples today or tomorrow and resolve the details of the contract termination with Napoli. The coach and Napoli's chairman De Laurentiis agreed that the contract with Napoli would terminate, if Ancelotti reached an agreement with a new club.

The Italian coach will sign a four-year deal with the Merseyside club and will bring in the same coaching staff that he worked with at Napoli, with the exception of the goalkeepers' coach. His son Davide and Duncan Ferguson, who has been in charge of the first team after Marco SIlva's sacking, will be assistant managers.

Ancelotti's first game in charge at everton won't be the home game against Arsenal, but he will make his debut on the Toffees' bench against Burnely on 26th December, while he will face Guardiola's Manchester City on New Year's Day.
