Left ACL injury feared for Zaniolo; final tests set for tomorrow

Zaniolo's departure from the pitch created great concern, thinking back to his recent recovery that kept him away from the pitch for six months. This evening, during Holland-Italy, Zaniolo injured his left knee and it's feared that the player tore his ACL. In January, he had surgery to repair a torn ACL in his right knee.

There is great concern for Roma and now they await to understand the severity of the injury and if the player will once again require surgery. At the end of the match, Dr. Ferretti commented the following: "It's an important distortion to the knee. The comparisons to the other knee are difficult due to the earlier operation. We will wait until tomorrow for a final diagnosis."
