​Emery on a Thiago Silva departure: ‘He’s happy to be here’

With the Brazilian center backs contract set to expire in a year and a half, PSG have their mind made up. This next period of time is all about Thiago Silva, as confirmed in a press conference by Unai Emery:

‘He is our captain, a player with serious experience, and has the respect of everybody in the locker room. He’s won back a spot in the national team, so as of today, he is happy to be here. He remains motivated and will continue to make his contribution in making this team better’. So for now, according to Emery, there are no signs of a possible departure from Thiago Silva.
