Eintracht Frankfurt make offer for Arsenal’s Torreira: the situation

Lucas Torreira is in the transfer news headlines in final stages of summer window. Eintracht Frankfurt have in fact made an offer to Arsenal to sign the Uruguayan midfielder following his season at Atletico Madrid on loan.

 Despite the concrete interest of the Bundesliga club, Torreira's preference is to return to Italy where he has suitors in Lazio and Fiorentina, who are looking for reinforcements to their midfields.

 Torreira previously played in Italy at Pescara in Serie B and Sampdoria in Serie A.
