Eder: "Spalletti is on Conte's level"

After two-and-a-half years in the Inter shirt, Eder left the team this summer after earning a Champions League spot, in which he'll be unable to play. "But it's how it should be," the forward commented to La Gazzetta dello Sport. "China had wanted me since after the Euros, but it wasn't the right time. Now, however, I feel the need for a change and Jiangsu Suning was a great choice."

After his first few months as a starter for Inter, Eder was unable to find consistent space last season among the many strong nerazzurri strikers. "Spalletti didn't play me much, but I'm objective and I realize that he's a great coach. He wants to win the scudetto and I'm certain that, next year, it won't be impossible to do so. The club is ambitious and signings like Nainggolan and Asamoah show that. Luciano is the real deal and a true teacher of the game, at the level of Conte."
