Demiral will take medicals with Atalanta on Thursday: details remaining with Spurs for Romero

Merih Demiral will undergo medicals with Atalanta in the coming hours. They had been scheduled for early on Wednedsay and now will take place tomorrow morning. He will be the replacement for Cristian Romero.

The deal with Juventus is for a loan with option to buy.

Demiral will have ample opportunity to play for Gasperini, as opposed to at Juve where he was buried behind Bonucci, Chiellini, and De Ligt in the squad.

On the front with Juventus the deal is moving ahead quicky. On the other, with Tottenham, there are still details left to be solved for Romero. 

The deal between the clubs should be agreed for a fee of €55 million including bonus, and Spurs plan to make an announcement soon.

There is a feeling that the deal's completion is inevitable, despite the fact of several details being left to solve.
